Strategic milestone achieved: DARE2X business strategy and scalability assessment

The DARE2X project has successfully reached a key milestone, focusing on the scalability and business plan assessment of its innovative decentralised green ammonia technology.

LOMARTOV supported the achievement of this milestone, which involved a comprehensive study evaluating the conditions under which DARE2X could become techno-economically competitive compared to current and emerging ammonia synthesis methods. The findings reveal that DARE2X demonstrates strong potential under key specific conditions, and the study identifies the key factors influencing its future competitiveness.

In parallel, LOMARTOV, developed a preliminary exploitation roadmap, outlining a strategic approach for market uptake in the coming years. This roadmap includes:

  • A go-to-market strategy
  • Detailed Key Exploitable Results (KERs) with unique value propositions
  • An overview of financing opportunities and next steps
  • An analysis of requirements for early deployment

The study also highlights several promising business cases where DARE2X technology could deliver significant value. These include:

  • Agricultural applications
  • Remote and back-up power generation
  • Maritime and port refuelling solutions
  • Decentralised ammonia supply for various industrial uses

The findings are detailed in a sensitive report.
