Highlights from an eventful summer for DARE2X

During this last period, DARE2X has been promoted at key industrial events and conferences, aiming to share all the latest developments and technical milestones to expand the commercialisation purposes to targeted audiences and potential users.

The 29th North American Catalysis Society Meeting (NAM29)

Our partners at Hulteberg Chemistry & Engineering (HB) participated in the 29th North American Meeting of the North American Catalysis Society (NAM29), an international event that gathered academic and industry researchers from around the world to explore and discuss the latest advancements in catalysis science and technology.

HB had a booth to showcase DARE2X, which sparked discussions and networking opportunities, with attendees understanding the technology as a disruptive innovation supporting the transition to sustainable energy.

The European Conference on Plasma Physics (EPS)

The University of Liverpool (UoL) team participated in the European Physical Society (EPS) Conference, the largest annual event in the field of plasma physics in Europe. During the conference, UoL presented the DARE2X project and introduced the concept of our sorption-enhanced plasma catalysis for green ammonia production. The contributions included a plenary talk titled “Plasma Electrification: A Promising Route for Sustainable Production of Fuels and Chemicals”.

The 19th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC-XIX) conference

Another major international event attended by HB partners was the 19th International Symposium on Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC-XIX). This event featured technical sessions, presentations, exhibitions, and poster sessions, offering a platform to share results and discuss the latest scientific and technical developments in the field of electrolysers.

The DARE2X project was presented to an audience of over 500 experts, researchers, and industry representatives. HB also co-hosted a booth with Heraeus Group, a global leader in precious metal recycling and refining, and a key player in green hydrogen production. Heraeus Group supports sustainable electrolysis processes through its innovative products. This collaboration also reflects the shared interest in the DARE2X technology.

EuropaCat Conference 2025: the 16th edition of the European Congress on Catalysis

The DARE2X technology will also be presented by our HB partners at the upcoming edition of EuropaCat conference. For yet another consecutive year, HB will participate with a booth showcasing our innovative solution, aiming to share insights and foster technical discussions with a diverse network of stakeholders, including academics, young researchers, engineers, and businesses focused on catalyst development, production, and energy conversion using renewable resources.

Stay tuned for further updates as we continue driving green ammonia production and strengthening collaborations. Thank you to all our partners for their dedication and contributions in showcasing DARE2X. Exciting developments still to come in these final months!
